It should come as no surprise that a third installment of The Purge has been announced (no concrete date has been given, but we can assume sometime in 2015, considering The Purge: Anarchy made $108 million worldwide off of a budget of $9 million, even though the first two installments so far have had their fair share of problems. But these no budget, high concept horror movies do find a massive audience, and no doubt we'll have a The Purge movie every year for the foreseeable future, much like The Purge in the movies being an annual tradition. Director James DeMonaco will return to mastermind a third night where all crime is legal, a concept I still think is absolutely fantastic, working off his own script.
