Possibly one of the most unique films ever to fall under the banner of Irish Film, 'abstract horror' movie limp. will be available for public consumption, for free, on Vimeo from Monday 12th of January, . The movie follows Mr Grott (Eoin Quinn), a lonely man who murders the object of his affections in order to live out his dream of loving someone and to be loved in return, one that slowly starts to unravel. Coming from the independent production company Crooked Creations, founded by director Shaun Ryan and DOP Kevin Minogue, limp. was made on a micro budget of €900, with much of the cast and crew donating their time for free. Since premiere at the inaugural IndieCork Film Festival in 2013, the movie has gone on to receive massive amounts of praise for it's dark subject matter, unique visual style, and Quinn's fantastic lead performance. It has continued its success at event in Ireland and abroad, including The Underground Film Festival, and the Seattle True Independent Film Festival.
Crooked Creations are releasing the film for free to help two worthy charities very close to them. Instead of paying for the film, they are urging you to consider making donations to the ARC Cancer Support Center and L'Arche Ireland.
