With Terminator Genisys hitting our screens in July, Paramount Pictures are pushing the hype machine into overdrive, and we now a new extended t.v. spot which gives us a peek at some new footage from the time bending reboot, including our first look at J.K. Simmons role in the whole thing.
Director Alan Taylor (Thor : The Dark World) is definitely bringing the action, but the real intriguing prospect is the story, which seems to mashing the previous four installments together into one insane, admittedly fan fiction-esque whole. With Genisys the first in a proposed trilogy, this feels like a crazy gamble, especially with hardcore fans, and I find myself 50/50 on it. Well, that is until I see Arnie using himself as a missile again, and for a few minutes I'm uber excited.
