But with The Russo's signing on, it also means that Joss Whedon is making good on his plans to walk away from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and to work on something original, but time will tell whether Marvel can find something that will pique his interest enough to stay in the MCU. Personally, Marvel Studios couldn't have found anyone better to hand the reins of their lynchpin franchise, with the team delivering one of the best installments in the MCU since, well, The Avengers. Also, there are reports that Infinity War has ties with their next MCU installment, Captain America: Civil War, so it makes sense that they would continue on the story started with the third Cap movie.
