It's not often Brosnan is cast as a villain in a movie, so when its a spy thriller that has echos of Bond and Bourne, we were bound to sit up and take notice.
Survivor sees Brosnan as an assassin on the trail of a government asset, played by Mila Jovovich. The trailer has landed, and I gotta say, it looks sufficiently old-school and polished for it to be an enjoyable caper.
The trailer lays out the plot for you, and there's a solid enough supporting cast, but the real question will be whether or not director James McTeigue can pull it all off. His CV is hit and miss, but until we see a finished article, he has the benefit of the doubt.
