Part of 2013’sympus was a tense and gritty affair two man war of the White House set action movies, Olympus Has Fallen was a pretty tense and gritty affair, with Gerard Butler on hand to ably fill the action hero role. Now a sequel is coming our way, but how do you top trashing the home of the most powerful man in America? Go international, of course.
The first poster for London Has Fallen doesn’t hide the fact that the British capital is in for one hell of a time, with Big Ben getting destroyed while the rest of London burns, and it’s one hell of an image to announce a movie with. The original played it’s premise, which was essentially Die Hard, completely straight, which added a welcome dose of realism. The sequel, while definitely going bigger, will hopefully carry that over.
Released: 2nd October
