Check Out New Images From The Set Of Independence Day: Resurgence

Last night, a special live stream gave us the title of the long awaited Independence Day sequel, and now the first images from the set of Independence Day: Resurgence have come our way, giving us the official title treatment, and a look at director Roland Emmerich with the Moon Tug, just one of the many advanced vehicles that have come out of studying the alien technology left behind after the invasion that gripped audiences in the first movie.

In amongst the banter between director and cast, it sheds some light on what Emmerich has in store for us this time round, what familiar characters, like Jeff Goldblum’s Daniel Levinson and Bill Pullman’s former President Whitmore, have been up to in the years following the initial invasion, and how the new faces, such as Liam Hemsworth, Maika Monroe, Jesse Usher, and Sela Ward, fit into the action.
