Inspired by incredible real-life events, director Baltasar Kormakur’s (Contraband, Two Guns) Everest documents two separate expeditions as they are tested by one of the harshest environments in the world, as a fierce snowstorm traps them on the peaks of the world’s highest mountains.
A fantastic cast has been assembled for this, including Josh Brolin, Jake Gyllenhaal, Keira Knightly, Robin Wright, and Jason Clarke, and the first international trailer alone left me with a knot in my chest that won’t be going away anytime soon. Carmaker could have a real epic adventure on his hands here, and you better believe my excitement is high for this movie right now.
