Scott Derickson’s Sinister was an incredibly striking and creepy horror movie, it’s one of the best examples of the current rejuvenation of the horror genre we’ve seen in the last few years, and as the laws of successful horror movies go, a sequel is on the cards. Though the reins of the Sinister 2 fall to Irish director Ciaran Foy (Citadel), the latest trailer should ease fans of the original. The atmosphere and creepy tone are still there, the kills will be brutal as ever, and the mythology of the series will be expanded on and we’ll get to know more about Bughuul, the horrific precedes at the centre of all the blood letting.
Released: 21st August
