Brad Bird’s absolutely wonderful The Iron Giant is a deserved animated classic. Up until now, a Blu-Ray version of the movie has always been talked about, but sadly hasn’t seen the light of day. But now, we’re getting one better, with The Iron Giant: Signature Edition returning to the big screen after sixteen years. Remastered, and containing two all new scenes, the movie is only set for the U.S. at the moment, but hopefully we’ll hear of a release this side of the pond in due course. If this movie has somehow passed you by (really, I can’t see how it has), this is the perfect chance for you to finally experience its particular slice of magic.
