Keeping us baited until its release in May of next year, new concept art for Captain America: Civil War has been released via Hawkeye's Jeremy Renner. The actor took to twitter today to reveal which Avengers are with Captain America and who'll be siding against them with Iron Man, in some cool concept art from the new film.
Hawkeye can be seen along with Ant Man (Paul Rudd), Sharon Carter aka Agent 13 (Emily VanCamp), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Buckie Barnes (Sebastian Stan) standing with Captain America (Chris Evans). On Iron's Man's (Robert Downey Jr's) side then is Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther, (Chadwick Boseman) War Machine (Don Cheadle) and the Vision, (played by Paul Bettany).
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), it also stars William Hurt, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Martin Freeman, Frank Grillo and Daniel Bruhl.
Synopsis:
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
Releases: May 6th 2016
