Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is considered the start of Disney’s fascination with remaking their classic cartoons in live action, and while Burton’s mainly green screen vision of Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories wasn’t for everyone, it did make $1 billion worldwide so we’re returning to Wonderland with Alice Through the Looking Glass. The Muppets director James Bobin is on board this time round, and our first look at the sequel comes in the form of two rather neat posters, featuring the returning Alice (Mia Wasikowska) and Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). Nothing much is known about the plot, but if theses posters are anything to go by, things will get pretty trippy.
