The first trailer for Jem and the Holograms seemed to be your typical coming of age drama set in the music industry, and that’s definitely the vibe you get from this new trailer. Well, until the robot turns up.
This is definitely a strange one. It doesn’t have the colour and vibrancy of the original cartoon, but the mixture of a familiar story and plenty of pop melodies may see it become a hot with its target audience.
