Over the last 48 hours, a story started going viral about Mark Hamill almost falling to his death on Skellig Michael last Summer, during the shoot for Star Wars The Force Awakens. Hamill took a tumble and apparently a quick thinking tour guide managed to grab him, and save him from a grisly demise. Why the story only came out over a year later is anyones guess. It seemed quite bizarre and we didn't pull the trigger on the story here.
Now it turns out that it was nothing but pure rubbish. One thinks it was the quote Kerry whoor mentality, where someone in the Kingdom (which is what Kerry is affectionally known as in Ireland) started a story and it grew legs in less than 12 par secs.
