With production said to be taking place shortly on Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass’ return to the Bourne franchise, the rest of the cast is slowly coming together with Variety reporting that Black Swan and Ocean Twelve’s Vincent Cassel has come onboard for the villain role, playing an assassin on the trail of our favourite kick ass spy who’s not James Bond. Cassell joins the returning Bourne and Julia Stiles, swell as other new comers Alicia Vikander as the female lead and Tommy Lee Jones as high ranking CIA officer.
Nothing much is known about this latest instalment of the popular franchise, but we do know we won’t be seeing a crossover between Bourne and Jeremy Renner’s Aaron Cross from The Bourne Legacy.
Whatever it ends up being called, Bourne 5 comes our way July 29th 2016.
