New Trailer For Idris Elba’s Beasts Of No Nation

It may be debuting on Netflix, but Beasts of No Nation, directed by True Detective's Cary Fukunaga, is already making waves on the festival circuit, recently having its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, and clocking up showings at the Toronto International Film Festival and London Film Festival before it will be available to all on the popular Internet streaming service. With the movie also having a limited theatrical release, there is some serious Oscar Buzz surrounding it too. Check out the latest trailer below to see what all the fuss is about.

Based on the highly acclaimed novel by Uzodinma Iweala, this is an intense and harrowing account of a young child soldier, Agu, forced to fight in the civil war of an African country. Idris Elba should dominate proceedings as the commandant who forces children into fighting for him, but he could have a fight on his hands with newcomer Abraham Attah showing a lot of promise in the role of Agu.
