With a final trailer coming tomorrow, a new t.v. spot for Spectre has arrived, featuring Christoph Waltz’ Oberhauser relishing been the villain while taunting James Bond form the shadows.
Keeping Waltz in the shadows for the entirety of the trailer campaign is a very nice touch. While it might spur rumours that he is Blofeld (unless he’s wearing a wig, which would beyond stupid, I highly doubt it), it adds a great deal of mystery which promises the best Bond villain in a long while. The trailer tomorrow may see him stand fully revealed, but hopefully he’s kept in the shadows, metaphorically speaking, until Spectre hits the big screen next month.
Released: 26th October (IRL/U.K.)/ 6th November (U.S.)
Synopsis: A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
