While our first glimpse of Assassin’s Creed was a pretty straight forward look at Michael Fassbender in full assassin regalia, our new look at the highly anticipated video game adaption is a tad more cryptic.

Fans of the game can make a good stab at this been the Abstergo Laboratories set, the facility that houses the Animus that allows Fassbender’s Callum Lynch to relive the memories of his 15th Century Spanish ancestor, Aguilar., and the wounds on his neck may point to the process being a not entirely pleasant. But the one question that remains is if the actor will be pulling double duty as both Callum and Aguilar. Time will tell as the movie’s December 21st 2016 release date inches ever closer.
