When Matthew Vaughn left X-Men: Days of Future Past in favour of Kingsman: The Secret Service, the reason he gave was that there was quite a number of similar movies in development and he wanted to get his spy centric action comedy out first. You have to believe one of the movies he was talking about was Louis LeTerrier’s (Now You See Me, The Incredible Hulk) Grimsby (The Brothers Grimsby in the U.S.), which stars Kingsman’s Mark Strong as a super spy who is forced to team up with his estranged football hooligan brother (Sacha Baron Cohen) to save the world.
While I did think I was watching a live action ad for Black Ops 3 when I first saw this, this NSFW trailer does gives us a good taste of what to expect (Strong acting badass, Cohen acting the hilarious scumbag), but anybody who has seen Spectre (in Ireland, at least) would have seen a similar trailer with a much funnier joke that would have done a better job of selling it. Release that one, Sony, it’s a good ‘un.
