Over the last few days, Disney have dropped numerous teasers for their sequel to Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, and now the full trailer fro Alice Through The looking Glass is here, giving us a taste what new director James Bobin (The Muppets) has in store for us.
An all new story featuring Lewis Carroll’s beloved characters, the action this time round revolves around Alice’s (Mia Wasikowska) race through time to save the life of the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), whiteouts in the sights of the embanking part man.part clock Time (Sacha Baron Cohen). S trailers go, it does a great job setting up the new story, and even though Burton is only onboard as producer, Bobin does a great job of recreating his visuals while putting his own spin on it (the colour palette is definitely a bit more vibrant than Burtons). The one major problem with the original is that the CG pretty much took over, making the whole affair seem pretty bland, so hopefully Bobin can nip that in the bud this time round.
