Teaming once again with director/husband Ben Falcone after the kinda odd Tammy, Melissa McCarthy is back being Melissa McCarthy for The Boss, playing a former titan of industry who tries to claw back her empire after being sent to prison for insider trading. At this stage, you know what to expect from a movie with McCarthy in the lead role (though Spy was a nice surprise), and while there are a few chuckles to be found here and Kristen Bell seems to work as a good straight woman, this just seems like more of the same.
