The heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe collide when Captain America: Civil War hits our screens in just over two months, and Empire have unveiled some new images from the highly anticipated kick off to Marvel Studios’ Phase Three, including our first real look at Frank Grillo’s Brock Rumlow in his new guise as Crossbones., the last remaining Hydra agent from The Winter Soldier’s explosive finale.
Crossbones reveal isn’t the only scoop the magazine got their hands on, as they have the first look at Martin Freeman from the sequel, and confirmation that he will be playing government agent Everett Ross, a member of the Joint Counter Terrorism Centre. In the comics, Ross has ties to Black Panther, so don’t be surprised if Freeman joins Chadwick Boseman’s super powered king of Wakanda when the character gets his own solo movie in 2018.

Released: April 29th (IRL/U.K.)/May 6th (U.S.)
