Mud and Take Shelter director Jeff Nichols’ latest, Midnight Special, has dropped a new trailer, building on the promise and intrigue of the first teaser, showcasing the amazing ensemble cast Nichols has assembled. Michael Shannon, Adam Driver, Joel Egerton, and Kirsten Dunst all come together for this old school mystery of a father’s quest to protect his son, who begins to exhibit strange other worldly powers. Nichol has a proven track record as a master storyteller, weaving compelling narratives with ease, and it looks like he hasn’t lost it here.
