As Valentine's Day sashays onto the calendar, the boffins at Netflix have uncovered what your viewing habits say about you and your relationships. In an Ipsos poll carried out in the U.S., it was discovered that 58% of customers bond with their partner over shared streaming, while 25% stated that they find someone more attractive based on the shows they watch.
27% insist that show compatibility is important while 58% have added shows or movies to their profile to attract certain suitors. 51% believe that sharing your Netflix password with your partner is a sign the relationship is serious, with 17% waiting until they're engaged to share theirs.
72% who are married or in a relationship say staying in and watching Netflix together is one of their favourite ways to spend a casual date night. 65% of those surveyed engaged in viewing negotiations over what to watch, while 35% trade show for show.
