When bringing Ransome Riggs’ best selling novel, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, to the big screen, there was only one man who could this quirky, gothic tale of gifted children being sheltered from monsters hell bent on killing them: Tim Burton. The first trailer has come our way, and the aesthetic, from the make-up to the use of colour, is undeniably Burton, and it seems he’s getting away from the CGI heavy effects fests that have marred his career as of late. Which is a big thumbs up from me. While not much is given away about the story, it does serve as great introduction the this world, and shows a lot of promise. Check it out below.
