While he may have only two films under his belt as a director, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3, Shane Black is up there with Quentin Tarantino in terms of movies you have no other choice but to look forward to. Which brings us to the latest directorial effort from the screen writer of Lethal Weapon (and the guy seemingly obsessed with jokes about his girlfriend’s vagina in Predator), The Nice Guys. The latest trailer has arrived, and it is a joy to behold, packing in as much hi-jinx and supreme hilarity as is humanly possible into two and a half minutes, as Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe bumble their way through a murder case in 1970’s Los Angeles. Black never fails to knock it out of the park, and he hasn’t lost a step here.
