With the likes of Kevin Smith (Clerks, Red State), Gary Shore (Dracula Untold), and Nicholas McCarthy (The Pact) taking a segment, the first trailer for horror anthology Holidays, which uncovers the dark side of annual celebrations like Christmas, Father’s Day, Easter, and St. Patrick’s Day (which Shore will be taking the helm).
A fine group of genre directors have been assembled for this, and the trailer has the right amount of creepiness to subvert the holidays and traditions weekend take for granted. Horror anthologies can be a bit hit and miss, but Holidays seems to be doing it right. If anything, it promises to be a lot of fun.
Released: April 15th
