We don’t see many movies coming out of Russia that break the mainstream, but when they do, we’re talking crazy shit like Nightwatch, Daywatch, and Hardcore Henry. Now, we can throw Guardians onto that list, which sees the country get its own superteam, that includes a pretty sweet looking bear man, that comes together to fight an evil from the past. I think that’s all we need to know really. It may not look as polished as a Marvel movie, but you have to admit its an intriguing and bad ass concept.
Guardians is released in it home country later this year. No word on an international release as of yet.
