Yesterday, our first glimpse at Nicholas Winding Refn’s The Neon Demon landed, bringing with it hope that it will be a little more of Drive and a lot of less Only God Forgives. Now another NSFW teaser for this tale of the dark side of the fashion industry has come our way, a super stylised, pulsing thirty seconds that introduces us to lead Elle Fanning’s supporting, including Jena Malone and Keanu Reeves.
There is an awful lot to like about this visually rich, dark promo, that, personally, goes further to sell the movie than the longer, more plot heavy first trailer. Only God Forgives fell down by being far too over indulgent on the director’s part, so if he can rein himself in this time round, this should see him back on track.
