The Lord of the Jungle, Tarzan, has many a big screen iteration under his lion cloth, but this latest attempt at big screen success from David Yates (the director of the last four Harry Potter movies) may show that there is life left in the character Edgar Rice Burroughs create well over a hundred years ago. IMAX have released a new trailer for The Legend of Tarzan, which gives us our best look yet at what the movie has in store for us, namely big action, Alexander Skarsgård brooding with the best of them in the title role, and Christoph Waltz proving once again no one can play villain quite as well as him. Check it out below.
Synopsis: It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
