While it's been at the end of less than favourable reviews, Suicide Squad has been kicking somer serious ass in the box office. While, it dropped 40% between Friday and Saturday Stateside, it still raked in the dollars and in doing so, broke a bunch of records in the process.
It earned $65.3 million on Friday, took a 41% drop on Saturday with $38.8 million, and added $31 million on Sunday. Those are the highest Friday, Saturday and Sunday numbers for the month of August ever.
Overseas, it's being doing the business as well, with the foreign box office now totalling over $130 million. Grand total to date is $268 million. Not too shabby.
