For eagle eyed fans, there was plenty of Easter Eggs to be found in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but for probably the most obscure one, finding it had to wait until the release of the movie on Blu-Ray. Noticing that a broken window had a whole in it that looked strangely like the Canadian province of Ontario, where Superman co-creator Joe Shuster hails from, one fan took to Twitter and posed the question to director Zack Snyder, cinematographer Larry Fong, and photographer Clay Enos on whether this was intentional or not.
Enos was the one to reply, saying Snyder confirmed it is indeed, adding he’s glad “someone finally noticed”.
Say what you will about Snyder and Dawn of Justice (we have and will continue to), but this shows a fantastic level of detail and the thought that went into the project. Something maybe we all overlooked in our damning of the movie. Time will tell if there any more similar easter eggs to be found.
@larryfong @clayenos @ZackSnyder I know this is reaching but is this an easter egg? Joe Shuster is born in Ontario. pic.twitter.com/HEZ4N5HlAe— Critical Mas (@mas_critical) September 8, 2016

@ajscar70 @mas_critical @larryfong I just showed this to Zack and he said, #finally someone noticed.— Clay Enos (@ClayEnos) September 9, 2016
