Christopher Guest, the master of mockumentaries, is heading to Netflix with Mascots, which follows in the footsteps of his other classics like Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman as a bunch of big egos clash in the world of sports mascots clash in the run up to the Oscars of the field, the 8th Annual Golden Fluffy Awards. The first full trailer is here, and there’s no denying Guest has assembled a stellar comedy cast, including Ed Begley Jr., Jane Lynch, Chris O’Dowd, Fred Willard, Bob Balaban, and Jennifer Coolidge, mixing in some delightfully dry humour with some absolutely absurd scenarios.
