We got our first substantial look at the live action remake of Japanese anime Ghost in The Shell back in September. While the project continues to stir controversy and split fans, a brand new clip from the film seems to suggest that the remake will stick close to the spirit of the original - when it comes to the action, at least. In the clip, Scarlett Johansson's 'The Major' (Major Motoko Kusanagi in the original) beats the crap out of a thug while disguised in invincible cloaking armour.
Johansson's outfit perfectly captures and updates Kusanagi's 'nude suit' from the 1995 original and the action in the short clip seems to match the beating she dishes out in the original scene almost beat-for-beat.
