Director Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Sicario, Prisoners) is plunging us back into the futuristic noir world of Blade Runner with the highly anticipated Blade Runner 2049, and while we have to wait till October for the finished product, the first trailer has arrived to give us a taste of what toe expect. While no story details are forthcoming, we do get the meeting of stars old and new, Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. Plus, it’s atmospheric as hell and will definitely get you hyped for what Villeneuve has in store for us.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
