Think back to any of the Ring movies, both original and remake, and the moment when Sakura/Samara crawls from the t.v will more than likely be the one that races to the front of your mind. Now, imagine if that happened in real life. That’s what a handful of unsuspecting shoppers had to deal with, thanks to Paramount and this ingenious prank used to promote the return of the franchise with next month’s Rings. I won’t be looking at a 4K television the same way for quite some time.
