The MTV Movie Awards were held last night, and with them came the first clip from Spider-Man: Homecoming, featuring Tom Holland’s Peter Parker coming to grips with his secret identity being found out. I have to admit I wasn’t entirely sold on Holland’s Peter Parker from his brief appearance in Captain America: Civil War. His Spider-Man I was totally onboard with, but his portrayal of Spidey’s alter-ego din’t grab me right away. That’s not the case anymore. I love his nerdy charm and enthusiasm, and from this scene alone, he seems perfectly suited for the humour director Jon Watt’s is mixing in with the usual super heroics. Check it out below.
