Meccano the Movie and a quick bitch about 3D movies

I shit you not! There is a Meccano Movie being made, or as its known in the States, Erector Set. Cue up the jokes!!!! I can’t see why in the name of Crom that somebody would think a Meccano movie would be a viable option. Maybe because its been shot in 3D (again I shit you not) it’ll be a big hit.

The whole 3D regeneration is great. Cameron got it right and Pixar got it right. Depth and immersion with no gimmicks. But the amount of 3D flicks coming out over the next few years is mind boggling! It’s like when a Bugs Life was a huge success for Pixar. People woke up and took big notice of computer animated features. Before long, Shrek turned up from Dreamworks and that was it. The flood gates were opened and a torrent of shit animated features spilled through, one after the other. I feel 3D is going to go the same way! Quality not Quantity FFS!!!!
