ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK AGAIN

Breck Eisner (The Crazies) has come on board for a remake of Escape From New York. According to Heat Vision Blog he’s going to do the Allan Loeb version (this movie has been through more writers than a sex tourist in a brothel in Thailand). And this version will by all accounts blend a back story with the futuristic plot of the original! So who’s gonna play Snake! Well, Gerard Butler was game on a few years ago, but as of now, there is nobody! Any suggestions? I wonder, and here’s a guess given that he’s started on the action hero role, Jake Gyllenhall. Would oul Jakey fit the role of Snake Plisskin. Bit of stubble, a few cuts and bruises and long hair, Mr.Brokeback might not be too bad methinks!
