The LA Times Hero Complex Festival was on Sunday and it was closed off by Ridley Scott who screened Alien and Blade Runner. Collider has put together the reults of a Q&A with Scott and Ridley confirmed that the script has been written and the films will begin to tell how The Space Jockey fits into the world of Alien.
He also went on the say that there is no real timeline and the the whole thing is set well before the first Alien, which in turn gives scope for 2 movies. Scott went on to say that once you learn the history of the space jockey and how it encountered the Aliens you’ll also want to learn how it got there.
Scott has also done alot of underwater research for the upcoming movies and the film will also look at the possibilities of terra forming for humans.
