Didn’t get enough of Avatar in the cinema, can’t get enough of the Blu-Ray / DVD, wondering where the 3D Blu-Ray version is? Well help is on hand, sorta. A special edition of James Cameron’s Avatar is back in digital screens on Friday August 27th for a limited time. It features an extra 8 minutes of never before seen footage and new creatures according to James Cameron who also says that audiences repeatedly told him they wanted to see more of Pandora! So the highest grossing film of all time ($2.7 BILLION) will return on August 27th. Whether or not an extra 8 minutes is going to be worth it remains to be seen. Personally I’m not too enthralled by the whole idea, although I’d nearly speculate that this will be the version that will eventually turn up on 3D Blu-Ray!
