The world must still be stopped turning in Ireland as Grown Ups has grossed (by now) nearly €1 million. What that says about the Irish cinema going populous I don’t know. The same can be said Stateside where it’s pulled in $160,678,105 (via Box Office Mojo). Resident Evil Afterlife opened to €131,243 and no doubt that will climb a bit more by next week. Dinner for Schmucks is starting to slow down (thank christ) and Cyrus has had a very poor showing in the Irish box office! But 3D is still ruling the roost, for how much longer I don’t know, but Irish audiences are still handing over their hard earned moolah for what is for the best part, a lacklustre product!
