The Wrestler director, Darren Aronofsky is in talks to direct X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2. If this comes to fruition it would see Hugh Jackman team up with Aronofsky again as the 2 already made The Fountain together. According to Deadline, the people who sit around tables and hammer out deals and what not are sitting around tables with Aronofsky. The first Wolverine movie was so so and who can forget the leaked, unfinished version which probably didn’t help matters. Aronofsky is a talented guy (not that he gives a shit that I say it) and I think could have a really deep stab at Wolverine, in a non-blockbuster, blockbuster style.
