Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson needed to do a movie like this If you ask me. He needed to move away from the kiddy stuff and the comedy capers and be what he can really be. And that’s a huge action star. With a full on revival happening of the 80’s action genre, this could well be good timing on the peoples champ’s part. Faster looks almost like a videogame in style. Headshots, Crazy car stunts and so on. The story is one of an ex-con out to avenge his brothers death after a double cross. Besides Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton is also on board for Faster, which will be released Stateside in November and will end up on Irish cinema screens on Feb 4th (Thanks Scannain.com).
