MSN have got the first teaser trailer for Greg Mottola’s (Adventureland, Superbad) Paul, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. As well as the Hot Fuzz twosome, the likes of Jason Bateman and Sigourney Weaver also star and the voice of the Alien is provided by Seth Rogen. I’m not sure what to think of the trailer. It’s fine, it’s funny in parts and the alien looks quite cool, but what in the name of Christ is going on with Simon Pegg’s hair. But, even though its only a teaser, it wouldn’t be going to high on my must watch list. That said, Pegg and Frost are brilliant and Mottola hasn’t disappointed yet so fingers crossed.
Paul follows the 2 tale of 2 sci-fi /comic book geeks who hit up American’s UFO country and accidentally meet an alien who requires some assistance after escaping from a top secret installation. Paul lands on March 18 2011 in the States and February 18th in the UK and Ireland.
