Tony Scott has been speaking at a junket for Unstoppable and says he is going to direct Top Gun 2. Considering Scott made a pretty decent job of the first one, it’s good to see that, at least it will keep its style and substance. Not that there’s anything wrong with handing over to another director, but some movies are better kept for their original parents. No word on the story yet, but it will involve jets and what not. And probably some sort of cameo for Tom Cruise.
