Being a massive Charles Bronson fan, I don't take kindly to folks trying to remake his films...but then I have no say in the matter whatsoever, so what can I do? But a poster for the re-imagining that just popped up online over at Cinematical gives me hope. CBS Films and director Simon West (Tomb Raider) have teamed up to remake The Mechanic, a flick about a highly trained killer who takes on an apprentice to teach him the ways of the Hit-Man. The remake will star Jason Statham, Ben Foster and Donald Sutherland and is looking at an unconfirmed 2011 release date here in Ireland.
