The remake….sorry the prequel of The Thing has had it’s release date of April 29th yanked off the Universal release schedule and in it’s place Fast Five (Fast & Furious 5….Duh!) has taken it’s spot. No word on a new release date for The Thing which would have seen a an origins story of John Carpenter’s epic shape shifting Antarctic alien movie. Oh well….Vroom, Vroom..yawn..instead! Fast Five will see Walker and Vin Diesel put their pedals to the metal again. For good measure, Dwayne the Rock Johnson will tag along as well!
