Now this is what I call a summer blockbuster. The poster for Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens has premiered over at Yahoo! Movies. The imagery on the poster is hopefully an indication of the fun this flick is going to be. As it stands, it's got everything going for it; great cast, great director and a generally awesome concept. After the success of Iron Man and Iron Man 2, it's exciting to see where Favreau is going to take this, as he's probably one of the strongest visual directors working right now...at least I think so! The film sees a mysterious stranger (Daniel Craig) ride into the town of Absolution, where he meets the evil and corrupt Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford), but soon the two must team up with Apache Indians to fight off a group of marooned Aliens, hell bent on general destruction and mayhem (see the Battle: LA trailer for examples of Alien's favourite activities).
