Neill Blomkamp (director of District 9) and Sharlto Copley (star of District 9) are re-teaming again for a new project, titled Elysium. Absolutely nothing is none plot wise (or pretty much anything else about the flick) other than it's another socio-political-film-within-an-excellent-blockbuster. The director is currently shopping around the flick to various studios in Hollywood to secure distribution. After the success of District 9, I'm imagining this won't take long, as Universal etc, should be begging him to bring Elysium their way.
I'm totally in love with the idea of this dynamic duo working together again, as District 9 is probably up there in my Top 10 of the last decade. All this comes courtesy of Deadline.
